Read the Printed Word! Apricot tea and honey

No matter how badly I want to complain about how hectic and stressful everything in my life has been lately, everything feels just right as I lay here in bed watching Billy Wilder’s Sabrina (for the hundredth time) for tomorrow’s conference.

(Though I will admit, I really wish my mother was here to cuddle up with. Watching Audrey Hepburn movies really never is the same without her.)

It’s funny how you’re both the reason I can’t fall asleep, and what gives me that warm feeling carrying me away into the night.

FINALLY watching Birdsong and loving every second of it.

Everything about it is so beautiful, WHY are there only two episodes? :(

At this time next week I shall be in Paris! Very last minute (I just bought my ticket), I’m finding it quite hard to believe! I’ll be surprising my best friend, she has no idea :)

I haven’t been back since August and have missed it every day since, so words cannot describe how excited I am :)

Expect an obscene amount of photographs!

“Reading is what I want to do for the rest of my life. It’s the most wonderful thing.”

This was only one of her many beautiful statements. Really, I should have just recorded the whole conversation

The previous post makes me particularly angry as I interned for an NGO this summer whose main focus is post-primary education where even a $5 dollar donation a month per person can change a life. I don’t even want to think about how far those $10 Million or so dollars would have gone had they been donated to an ACTUAL good cause.
